There are portrait a day challenges on other blog. I’ve been doing it for a while, limiting myself from 5 to 10 minutes per sketch. I hope I don’t run out of canvas panels.
Been busy painting the Bluffs. This is my first summer in Galiano and met prominent artist here. Hopefully, I can get a better internet service so I can post more images.
Trying to push the watercolour envelope. Without thinking too much, I’m just laying the colours on the paper.
Rene, the mycologist. He’s probably the first person I met from Galiano. A mycology meet in Victoria last summer of 2010 and he was there. I got a huge mushroom and Rene helped me identify it. Thanks Rene!
