Portrait a Day
There are portrait a day challenges on other blog. I’ve been doing it for a while, limiting myself from 5 to 10 minutes per sketch. I hope I don’t run out of canvas panels.

Bluffs Park Oil On Canvas
Been busy painting the Bluffs. This is my first summer in Galiano and met prominent artist here. Hopefully, I can get a better internet service so I can post more images.

Rene, the mycologist. He’s probably the first person I met from Galiano. A mycology meet in Victoria last summer of 2010 and he was there. I got a huge mushroom and Rene helped me identify it.

Sketches of Galiano Citizens
I sketched some people of Galiano. Brian, our neighbour and Judy from the Galiano Club. I wanted to capture Judy’s nice wide smile but when I asked to take her photo she posed without the smile. I had to discreetly take her snapshot to capture that smile.

Ferry Ride Home
Ferry ride home. Days gets longer and the dreamy view from the Queen of Cumberland seems surreal.
